Connect Slack

Let your runs search, read, and send messages in your Slack workspace.

Each Slack workspace you connect is yours alone. Nobody else in the organization sees it, and only runs that act as you, including your automations, can use it. Runs read and post as you, so a message they send shows your name.

How do I connect a workspace?

  1. Open Connectors and select Slack on the Plugins tab.
  2. Select Add account, pick the workspace, and allow access.
  3. Open the account and switch on each tool you want runs to use.

You can add more than one workspace. Give each a name under Settings so you can tell them apart. The name also appears in the tool names runs see.

Which tools can runs use?

None until you allow them. Read each tool's description before you allow it, especially tools that send messages.

What do the statuses mean?

  • Connected: the workspace is working.
  • Sign-in needed: open the account and select Sign in or Reconnect.
  • Disabled: the account is turned off. Turn on Enabled to use it again.
